Built for creators. Trusted by producers.

Showrilly connects people with original ideas, unforgettable characters, and real stories to producers scouting what’s next.

Why I built Showrilly

I didn’t take the usual route into reality TV.

My background is in news and documentary, where I spent my time chasing stories, meeting people, seeing things for myself, and figuring out how to get to the heart of something real. Then a friend asked me to help create a sizzle reel for a reality TV concept, and that one project pulled me in.

Since then, I’ve developed, sold, and produced multiple unscripted series for buyers including Netflix, Discovery, and HGTV Canada. One of my original series, Timber Kings, premiered as the highest-rated series in HGTV Canada history and has since aired in more than 100 countries. I’ve led tiny crews, big crews, chaotic shoots, tricky development processes, and everything in between.

Along the way, I kept noticing the same disconnect. Development producers are constantly searching for the next original concept, while people outside the industry are sitting on remarkable characters, worlds, and stories with no obvious way in.

Showrilly is my attempt to build a bridge. Not by pretending every idea is a hit, but by creating a space where creators can put strong concepts forward, track producer activity, and connect with producers looking for ideas that deserve a serious look.

Who Showrilly is for

Showrilly is the missing bridge between people with strong unscripted ideas and the producers who can help move them forward.

For creators

If you have an original unscripted concept, Showrilly gives you a professional place to build and organize your pitch, then publish it when you’re ready. Track producer activity and keep your idea moving without an agent, manager, or lucky introduction.

For producers, networks and brands

Showrilly gives you a faster way to find fresh concepts from creators outside your usual circle. Search by keyword, filter by genre, review complete pitch materials, and connect directly when something fits what you’re looking for.

What makes Showrilly different

Creating a bridge where none existed

Creators need a clearer way to share original material. Producers need a faster way to find ideas worth reviewing.

A clearer process for creators

Build and organize a professional pitch, add your deck and sizzle, and publish it when you’re ready.

A better way to scout

Search by keyword, filter by genre, save promising concepts, and review complete pitch packages without sorting through cold emails, scattered links, or loose attachments.

More visibility after publishing

Creators should not have to wonder what happens after a pitch goes live. Showrilly lets them track how verified producers are engaging with their work, in real time.

FAQ

Creators

No. Showrilly is not a talent agency or employment service, and we do not guarantee meetings, representation, or employment. What we provide is a publishing platform — a place where creators can showcase their unscripted TV ideas to verified producers. Every producer on the platform is vetted, and you’ll be able to track who views, saves, or engages with your pitch. If a producer is interested, they can choose to reach out, but that decision is always in their hands.

Create a free account and build your concept in the pitch builder. You can add your title, logline, overview, deck, video links, and other materials before choosing a plan. You only pay when you’re ready to publish your concept live in the Pitch Room.

Only verified reality TV producers have access to The Pitch Room. Every producer on Showrilly is vetted, meaning they’ve submitted real credentials like IMDb pages, network credits, or production company affiliations.

Every producer agrees to our platform-wide Terms of Service, which includes a professional conduct clause: they can’t misuse your content, and you retain full ownership of everything you upload.

Every view, download, and message is time-stamped and logged, so you always know who’s looking. You stay in control, and your work stays protected.

When it happens, you’ll get notified. Showrilly gives you creator-first analytics no other platform offers: real-time, detailed, and actually useful.

You’ll see exactly who viewed your pitch, how many times they watched your sizzle, which companies downloaded your deck, and which producers saved or passed (including pass reasons, when shared). If someone wants to connect, they’ll message you directly, and you’ll get an instant notification.

This isn’t just visibility, it’s strategy. You can refine your pitch with real data, not guesswork.

You’re not pitching into the void. With Showrilly, you get a front-row seat to how producers engage with your work, and the tools to level up fast.

Yes, because verified producers are here, actively scouting reality show ideas and unscripted TV concepts.

Showrilly was built for one purpose: connecting bold, original creators with the people who greenlight new ideas. Every day,  producers log in to browse concepts outside their usual pipeline. They’re scouting for fresh concepts, unique casts, hidden worlds, and sizzles that spark curiosity.

Will every pitch get a deal? No platform can promise that. But on Showrilly, you’re not uploading into a black hole. You’ll see exactly who’s viewing your pitch, what they downloaded, and when they saved it. That feedback loop is real, and it helps you revise smarter, pitch better, and stay in the game.

The producers are real. The scouting is real. And when your pitch aligns, those connections can be real too.

This isn’t about waiting to be discovered. It’s about showing up with a pitch that demands attention, and knowing the platform is built to make sure it gets seen.

The ones with unforgettable people and rare access. Producers are drawn to real characters with big personalities, high stakes, or unique insight, and to pitches that offer a window into a world they haven’t seen (or a fresh angle on one they thought they knew).

What works:

  • Bold, cast-driven concepts
  • Unique access to hidden or hard-to-film communities
  • Clear, simple formats with strong hooks
  • Real people worth watching, even just one
  • Fresh takes on proven genres (crime, makeover, docuseries, etc.)

What doesn't:

  • Vague ideas with no clear characters
  • Concepts reliant on celebrities you don’t have
  • Pitches without a compelling story engine
  • Projects that feel too similar to existing shows

Tip: It’s not just about the idea, it’s about who it’s about, and why they’re impossible to ignore.

Yes. You can update your pitch anytime: tweak the logline, swap out your sizzle, upload a new deck, whatever improves your materials.

Need to take it down temporarily? You can unpublish a concept with one click. It’ll stay saved in your dashboard until you’re ready to make it live again.

Your pitch, your timeline.

Head to your account settings. You can switch plans, cancel, or pause any time. Changes take effect at the end of your billing cycle.

Your concepts stay right where you left them. Unless you ask us to delete them, we’ll save everything in your dashboard so you can pick up where you left off whenever you're ready to return. No pressure, no data loss, just pause and come back when the time’s right.

We’ll give you a heads-up and try again. If it still doesn’t go through, your plan features will pause until you're back up and running.

Right now, Showrilly is focused exclusively on unscripted television, everything from follow-doc series to special access documentaries to shiny-floor game shows and competition formats. If your project involves actors performing memorized lines, that’s a scripted concept, and we’re not the right fit at this time.

Why? Because the producers using Showrilly specialize in factual and reality programming. They’re not looking for scripted pitches, and we don’t want you to waste time sharing ideas with an audience that isn’t a match.

In the future, we may expand to include scripted, but for now our mission is to give unscripted creators a clearer path to producers scouting what’s next in unscripted TV.

Producers

Nope. Access is completely free for verified producers. Showrilly doesn’t take a percentage, a credit, or any ownership. Requests for access are reviewed quickly, usually within minutes or hours, not days.

You’ll find a wide range of unscripted formats, from docuseries and social experiments to dating shows, challenge formats, lifestyle content, and more. Every pitch includes a logline, summary, and creative materials like decks, sizzles or casting tapes. You can filter by genre, tone, target audience, or region, to zero in on what matters most to you. Whether you're chasing breakout characters or bold new formats, it's all in the Pitch Room.

When you request contact on a pitch, two things happen immediately:

  • The creator is notified via email and through their Showrilly dashboard.
  • A private message thread is opened between you and the creator, right on the platform.

You can message them directly from there. No cold DMs, no public threads, no gatekeepers. These creators have chosen to make their projects visible to producers like you.

Creators can respond quickly, and you’ll be able to track the status of your outreach from your dashboard. If you’d like space to negotiate or evaluate the project without outside attention, you can also request a 72-hour hold, which temporarily removes the pitch from public visibility while you explore next steps.

No. Only producers can initiate contact. Creators can’t message you unless you reach out first.

Showrilly offers an optional Private Review Window for Producers who want a little extra time to evaluate a pitch without competing interest. For a one-time administrative fee of $39.99, the concept is temporarily removed from public view for 72 hours. During that window, only you and the Creator can access it, giving you space to ask questions, exchange information, and evaluate the project.

It’s important to note: this is not a legal hold on rights. The Creator retains full control of their project, and the concept automatically reappears in the Pitch Room after the 72-hour period if no next steps are agreed.

Just sign up for a free producer account and request access. Once verified, you’ll unlock the Pitch Room and be able to browse, filter, and reach out directly to creators.

Yes. Bookmark your favorites, and note the reasons other projects received a pass.

Legal & IP

100%. You own your content. Always. Showrilly doesn’t take any ownership or claim rights to your material.

Not formally, but every verified producer agrees to Showrilly’s Terms of Service, which includes a good-faith agreement to respect your IP. Your reality TV pitches and unscripted concepts stay yours, and you stay in control.

Only verified producers with approved access can view your pitch. Your activity is logged and trackable, with safeguards designed to keep creators in control.
